I can't believe that next month it will be 11 years.
It still seems like yesterday.
To say that I miss her is such an understatement.
I miss her so deeply that it hurts all the way down to the very depths of my soul.

- A Path to Another Rhodes...we are following a path to find another Rhodes! We know that the Lord has a child out there for us. We've waited for God's timing for a couple of years and I'm so excited to say that we started our adoption process in October 2010!! We felt led to try and adopt the little girl that we sponsor who lives at Shepherd's Field Children's Village...Philip Hayden Foundation. I have been so blessed by finding this community of bloggers who share many of the same thoughts and feelings. It's such an encouragement and support to know that there are people out there who feel the same way. This is quite a journey and I'm looking forward to sharing it!

Loss can linger for a long time. Thankfully we have God to give others in our lives. I lost my mother about 8 years ago. It's hard. God bless
