Still tryin to keep 'em busy!
Yesterday we went to the beach! It's about a 45 minute ride for us.
So we packed up for the day and enjoyed some sun!
The water is still freezing for this Floridian, but the kids got in the water some.
Ava looked for shells.
Ty found a dead jelly fish and toted it around the beach with Ava asking people if they wanted to see a jelly fish. Well, let me get this straight...AVA would walk up to the people on the beach and ask them, then TY would bring it over. =) It definitely attracted a bunch of kids at the beach.
The jelly fish is in the shovel that Ty is holding.
It's amazing to me how well my 2 kiddos play with one another when at the beach versus when we are in the house.
This is my friend's little boy with my kids. They met us out at the beach and it was nice to have someone to chat with while the kids played. It was a beautiful day!
Oh! And by the way, we saw dolphins! There was a bunch of them, too. I didn't get a very good picture...the one below is just one fin sticking up...but there had to be about 6 or more!! They were so cute, one after the other would scoop up over the water and go back down. It looks like it's far away, but really it wasn't too far out.
Today we just kind of had a lazy day. It was nice to let the kids just hang around here and play in the house. On many school days they don't get much time if any to just play.
